First stop on the way was the Kennecott Copper Mine just west of Salt Lake City. It is so big that you can see it from space!!
Look at how small the "Big" Ford pick up truck is next to these massive machines. Look to the right of the first of the machines coming up!
That is a pretty big tire!
The photo is no justice to how big the mine is, but hopefully gives a bit of an idea of how big it is!
